About Bet Club

Bet Club (communitybet.co.uk) exists because the weekly group accumulator is great fun and terrible admin. Somebody has to chase everyone for a team, somebody has to put the bet on, and then somebody has to remember who paid, who didn't, and who picked the team that let it all down in the 88th minute.

The app takes that job off your hands. One person creates a group, shares a six-character code, and everyone else joins in seconds — no long sign-up form required.

What it does

• This week's pick. Everyone submits their team for the week and can see what the rest of the group has gone for.
• Bet locked in. The person placing the bet uploads a photo of the slip, so there's a permanent record of what actually went on, with each player's odds stored against their pick.
• Performance tracking. Wins, losses, points, streaks, average odds per player and a league table — including how early payouts are treated (a winning bet, but a losing result).
• Money. Set the total the group is putting on each week and the app works out each person's share, whether everyone chips in or only last week's losers do, and tracks who has paid the person placing the next bet.

What it is not

Bet Club is not a bookmaker or a gambling operator. You cannot place a bet here, no odds are offered, and no money is ever taken, held or transferred by us. Bets are placed elsewhere by one of your own group; we simply keep the record straight. The app is for adults aged 18 or over.
